G.
Mike
asked
for all
GSRs
to
check
the email
list
as
it
came
around
the
room
with
the
sign-up
sheet
to ensure
that
all
information
is
correct
for
each
group.
Mike
attended
the
January
quarterly
in Vancouver, Washington
where
Dave T.
addressed
the
staple removal motion.
The
motion
was
presented
to GSO
and
the
motion
was
not
pursued for
various
reasons.
Mike
also
reported
that
they
finished
the
area
inventory
at
the
quarterly
meeting.
They
went
through
each
District
position.
There
was
also discussion
at
the
quarterly
about
technology
outpacing

on funds.
District

as
a positive
move for
your service
position.
Donnie
has
to
step
down
as

Mike
will
need
an alternate

prior
to
July
so that
this person
can
attend
the
quarterly
as
Mike
will
be on
a personal
vacation.
Mike
has
lanyards
for those who requested
them.
A
motion
was
made
to
accept Mike’s

to
meet
with District

discuss
the
planning
of the
2013

the

was
cancelled.
Mike
did
speak
with

and
will set
a date
for
a committee

meeting.
We
still need
to
secure
a
venue
for
the
event
which will need
to accommodate
approx.
700
people.
Jordan
is
still working on connecting
with
Emerald

BURIEN
LITTLE
ASSEMBLY:
If
you are
interested
in volunteering
with
the
Burien
Little
Assembly
on March
13th
Mike
could
use
some help
with
set
up.
It
is a
great
event
and is
very service
oriented.
NEW
BUSINESS:
Mike G. would
like
to know if
we
are
interested
in an
Area Chairperson
coming
to our
meeting
to
talk
about
a
specific
position
in detail.
(e.g.,
Archives,
Treasurer,
CPC,
Accessibility,
etc.)
We need
a Chairperson

to
be held
in July.
We received
a

at 7

-312th
and

Open meeting
with

and
an
Alanon
meeting
attached.
The
Alanon
meeting
is a
new addition
in the
past
couple
of
months.
Attendance
was
down
but
it
is building
again.
Solid core
group
and
they
are
now
in the
schedule book!
They are
discussing
a
split contribution.
It’s
a relatively
new
meeting
but it’s going
strong
and
has
some long
term
sobriety.
There
are
lots
of
younger
people
regularly
attending
also.
They
are
planning
to
have
a picnic
this summer.

needs
money.
The

has
recently
created
two
new
committees;
one
to
look
into
the
possibility
of moving the meeting
and
the
other
to
work
with
current

on lowering
the

Lost
another
home group
member
this
month,
mostly because
he had
trouble
grasping
the
12th tradition.
We have
had
other
members
leave
due
to
personalities
over
principals.
This
leaves
us looking
for an
alternate
GSR again.
Someone
thought
it would
be a
good
idea
if we
had Steps
and
Traditions
window
shades
and
the
group
agreed,
but the
person
authorized
to
purchase
them
was
the
one
who
quit
??
My rotation
will be up soon.
I
look
forward
to
being
a
“younger
statesman”.
Lynn
S. –

solid group.
